About Antonio & Cheeky Monkey

Antonio’s journey to creating Cheeky Monkey is one grounded in family, community, and a genuine passion for bringing people together.

 

His family relocated to Keighley in 1999 when Antonio was 15, joining relatives who had made the town their home since the 1970s. Growing up here, Antonio developed a strong bond with the community and a desire to give back.

 

For 17 years, Antonio worked in Keighley’s local restaurant scene, gaining valuable experience and building connections with families across the town. Inspired by his time serving the community and driven by his own experiences as a father of two cheeky monkeys, Antonio dreamed of opening a place where children could play safely and creatively — and where families could come together and feel truly welcome.

 

Cheeky Monkey is the result of that dream. It’s more than a soft play centre; it’s a carefully crafted space full of imagination, fun, and warmth. Every piece of equipment, every menu item, and every corner has been thoughtfully chosen with families in mind.

 

Despite facing delays and challenges along the way, Antonio’s dedication to safety, quality, and community spirit remains at the heart of Cheeky Monkey. He hopes this will be a place Keighley families will love and return to for years to come.
